KENYA PARTICIPATES IN EXPO 2015 MILAN
Cabinet Secretary of East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism, Mrs. Phyllis Kandie, visited the Kenya Pavilion at the EXPO Milan 2015 to lay out the strategy that will guide the team -responsible for showcasing Kenya to the world at the EXPO Milan 2015. With over 20 million visitors expected to attend EXPO Milano 2015, and 150 countries participating, this year’s event looks to build on the global success of the last EXPO, which was held in Shanghai in 2010. Supporting Indias Preferential Trade to Africa
Supporting India’s Preferential Trade to Africa (SITA) is a five year project that was initiated on 9th March, 2014 by the UK Aid, as a South-South Aid for Trade Initiative. The project aims at increasing the value of trade between India and selected East African countries (Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania). The programme is coordinated by the ITC and will be evaluated against success factors such as increased exports to India, partnerships and joint ventures that accelerate employment creation, skill and technology transfer to the East African countries, among other factors. ..Read More...
