AGOA- Business Conference in Ohio, USA
The Export Promotion Council will participate in the forth coming AGOA forum which is scheduled to take place in Washington DC from 14th to 15th June 2012. In addition there will be other activities running during the month of June which are geared towards improving trade between Africa and the USA under the AGOA trade agreement. One of those activities is the “US Africa Business Conference” which will be held from 21st to 22nd June 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The purpose of the conference is to connect African and American businesses with mutual interests specific to Energy, Transportation, and Water & Sanitation sectors. The conference will showcase U.S. business expertise to potential African clients, and highlight trade and investment opportunities in Africa to U.S. investors.  Key to this goal will be a structured matchmaking session for African businesses. The desired outcome will be increased commercial partnerships with Africa and improved infrastructure for trade.
