Condor Airlines inaugural flight lands at JKIA

Image Jomo Kenyatta International Airport now offers direct connection to Frankfurt Germany effective from 5th November 2011 as Condor Airline has resumed operations into Nairobi. The airline offers two weekly non- stop flights to Nairobi (NBO) from Frankfurt, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Eng Stephen Gichuki, Managing Director of Kenya Airports Authority said: "Kenya Airports Authority is very pleased to have Condor Airline fly into JKIA, as it shows that our relentless marketing efforts at the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) in Germany have borne fruit.”

"Condor Airline presence will increase the connectivity at JKIA, and strengthen the relationship between Kenya and Germany apart from increasing the passenger movements, as Kenya has witnessed unprecedented growth in trade and tourism from Germany.” added Engineer Gichuki.

Condor Airlines, one of the largest airlines in Germany serving seventy seven destinations globally will be operating a Boeing 767-300 in a three class configuration of Economy Class, Premium Economy Class and Comfort Class into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The inaugural flight of Condor Airlines flight into Nairobi is part of the airlines continued strategy to expand to diverse locations beyond Europe. Earlier this year Condor Airlines increasing their flights to Mombasa from 3 to 4 times a week.
