Export of livestock and livestock products to South Africa

There has been a non-tariff barrier hindering exports of livestock and livestock products to South Africa. This has successfully been resolved between the Department of Veterinary Services of Kenya and the Directorate of Animal Health of the Republic of South Africa. The two countries have agreed on the export of livestock and livestock products particularly meat, dairy products and camel milk provided they meet the sanitary and phyto-sanitary (SPS) standards set by the two countries.
