A word from Tender Crop Farms
I wish to thank the Export Promotion Council for developing website for SMEs. Our website has had several hits and business has already commenced with one of the prospect from Cairo. We started off with a trial order of just half a ton in February 2008. Gradually we have developed this to a regular order of 1 ton of avocados per week.

In the process we have learnt that even though the Egypt does not import mangoes, they have taken great interest in our Ginger and cashew nuts, which we have already sampled to them. We expect this to open up demand for other varieties as we continue to send out more samples with every shipment.

We shall endeavour to maintain a good foothold on this promising market, which is also an important member of COMESA.
