World Floral Summit on the 7th November 2017 to be held in Aalsmeer, Netherlands
Aalsmeer will be the epicenter of the floriculture industry early November, hosting the first World Floral Summit (WFS) on Tuesday, 7th November 2017. Leading international organizations in the field of floriculture will convene there to discuss the many pressing issues facing the sector. Vertical integration in the floriculture industry will be the underlying theme.
The parties that participate in the World Floral Summit are: Florint, CIOPORA, Fleuroselect, AIPH, Union Fleurs and Royal FloraHolland. That makes the conference a unique effort at bringing together most of the key stakeholders in the worldwide floriculture industry.

The World Floral Summit will take place on 7 November from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Main sponsor Royal FloraHolland will make its facilities in Aalsmeer available for the event. The summit precedes the big annual Aalsmeer Trade Fair and IFTF, which both take place from 8 to 10 November, 2017.
There will be plenty of opportunities at the end of the afternoon to discuss the latest developments in the floriculture industry while enjoying a tasty snack and a drink. The evening will be dedicated to the Dutch Tulip Award.
