of Uganda is coordinating Kenya's participation at the above festival. This is a major cultural event among the East African Community the last one of its kind being held in Kenya in 2015.

The 3rd Edition of the EAC Arts and Culture Festival will run under the following theme; Embracing culture and creative industries: An Engine of unity and employment creation”. The main objective of this event is to unify the East African Community and hence promote a regional socio-cultural integration and wealth creation through arts and culture.

The festival thus provides an opportunity for Kenya businesses to launch new products, enlarge, consolidate and diversify their market in Uganda and to the neighboring countries. In addition it will enable Kenyan companies to introduce to the Ugandan market Kenya’s capacity to produce high quality value added products and services as well as provide an avenue for our companies to deepen and strengthen their product and corporate brands into the market.

The festival will be held at the Kolololo Independence grounds and each participant will be required to pay $5 each day for the 9 days that the festival will be running. The exhibition area is an open ground and participants will be required to set up their tents where they will also be able to display their exhibition products. The participants will also be expected to brand their tents. Participants will also be required to meet their own travel, subsistence and accommodation expenses; additional advertisement you may desire during the Exhibition; any applicable duties and taxes on your exhibits.

This is therefore to invite you to participate at the festival given your interest in your product offering and prospects in the Ugandan market.
