World Export Development Forum (WEDF)
The International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Qatar Development Bank (QDB) are jointly organising Business to Business (B2B) meetings on the sidelines of the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) taking from October 21 – 22, 2015 in Doha, Qatar.
ITC and QDB are set to invite a range of key Qatari couterparts that can support foreign companies find opportunities in business, joint venture, and co-investment in Qatar. This is one of the most competitive markets in the Middle East whose development and growth agenda till 2030 is expected to expand it’s demand for a wide array of goods and services.

Qatar’s high income per capita levels open a wide range of business opportunities coupled with it’s location making it an excellent basefor expansion into the Gulf as well as the Middle East and North Africa region.
The B2B meetings are targetting the following sectors;
1.Food and speciality foods – including processed and value added foods, halal foods and products, fruits, vegetables, cut flowers and spices for import and re-export to the region.
2.Plastics and packaging (including derivative products)
3.Promotion of Tourism – Tour operators, Safari’s, Hotel and Event management, Business travel, Cultural tourism and Educational companies.
All companies interested in doing business with Qatar may register with ITC for participation at the B2B meetings.
