20th Dhaka International Trade fair-DIFT-2015
EPC has received an invitation from The High Commission for the peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh in Nairobi to attend “20th Dhaka International Trade fair-DIFT-2015”, which is being organised by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh. It is the biggest trade fair in Bangladesh. The fair is to be held during 1st -31st January, 2015 at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. It is expected that the event will create an immense opportunity for both buyers and sellers to establish new business contacts. Products to be displayed in the fair include; Textile and Garments, Leather and Leather goods including footwear, machinery and plants, Carpets and Allied products, Cosmetics, Beauty aids, Dairy products, Electrical and Electronics items, Toys, Stationary, watches, clocks, jewelry etc. Application forms and details for the fair may be downloaded from website: www.ditf-epb.gov.bd

Interested foreign participants will be required to submit their applications in the prescribed form through Bangladesh Missions abroad or their Missions in Bangladesh. Foreign applicants may also submit their applications through Trade Promotion Organization (TPO)/ Chambers/ Trade bodies of their respective countries if there is no Bangladesh Mission in their countries or their Missions in Dhaka. It may be mentioned here that 11 foreign countries participated in the DIFT-2014. The clearance of exhibits will be made on payment of the customs duties and taxes on or submission of Bank Guarantee for the equivalent amount of the money at the custom entry point.

The visit of the participants/ visitors/ trade mission at DIFT-2015 is cordially welcome and EPB will provide the following support services:
  • Reception of the participants/ Visitors/ Trade mission at the Hazrat Shah Jala International Airport- Dhaka.
  • Arranging meetings with the leading Chamber of Commerce, Trade Association, Board of Investments (BOI) and Export Processing Zone(EPZ), if required;
  • Assisting the visitors/ trade mission to visit DIFT-2015 fair ground.
