Guidelines for Exporting Dairy Products
Detailed below is the procedure for exportation of Dairy products.

A.    An application form (F2/2) must be obtained from the MD’s office at a cost of KShs. 600.00 or equivalent in US$.  One is required to attach the following document before it is submitted to the MD for recommendation.

1.    Copy of order form or profoma which details the consignments details including weight, product specifications to include product type, packaging, quantity and the value of the items.

B.    Application form(F/2/2) is recommended by the Managing Director

C.    Client takes form to the Ministry of Livestock Department of Veterinary Services, final authority on animal health, a Certificate of health will be issued with at a cost of KShs. 1,000.00  or its equivalent in US$.

D.    Client proceeds to Kenya Dairy Board for permit which will cost KShs 1,000 or its equivalent in US$.
