The Export Promotion Council in collaboration with the relevant public and private sector organizations with the Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce & Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Trade, and our Embassy in Kigali, Rwanda together with other relevant Public & Private Sector organizations is coordinating Kenya's participation at the above Trade Fair. This is a major trade promotion event in the 2014 Kenya National Export Market Development Programme.
The main objective of participation is to consolidate Kenya's market share and presence in Rwanda as well as consolidating the gains made in past trade development and promotion activities in Rwanda.

The Rwanda market is an important market for Kenya and owing to its strategic position as an entry point to both the republic of Burundi and the eastern side of DR Congo; there is need for Kenya’s sustained presence through our diverse product offerings. The main objectives of this event is therefore to accord Kenya businesses an opportunity to launch new products, enlarge, consolidate and diversify their market in Rwanda and to the neighboring countries. This Exhibition is also aimed at enabling Kenyan companies to introduce to the Rwandese market Kenya’s capacity to produce high quality value added products and services as well as provide an avenue for our companies to deepen and strengthen their product and corporate brands into the market.

In this regard, the Council is inviting your company to participate in the forthcoming trade fair given your product offering and prospects in the Rwandan market by completing the attached Application form and return the same to our offices on 16th Floor, Anniversary Towers, University Way, Nairobi not later than 7th July 2014.  Since available exhibition space is limited, applications will be considered on the basis of first come, first served for those who qualify.

As an exhibitor, you will be expected to pay non-refundable participation commitment fee of Kshs. 100,000.00 per booth, meet expenses for your own travel, subsistence, accommodation, additional advertisement (in the supplement to be run in the print media during the Exhibition) and any applicable duties and taxes on your exhibits.

The Council on the other hand will hire space, construct the stands, print an event catalogue and provide basic display facilities (electricity power point, name on fascia board, a table, two chairs, shelves or podiums). The Council will also carry out publicity in both print and electronic media in Rwanda in order to enhance Kenya’s visibility during the event.

Successful applicants are required to submit a company profile together with coloured passport photographs of their representative(s) who will be physically present at the stand during the event.

The first all exhibitors briefing meeting is scheduled  for Thursday 10th July 2014 at the EPC boardroom 16th Floor, Anniversary Towers, University way starting 10:00 am.
