Development of Websites for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)

The Export Promotion Council (EPC) is inviting applications from Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) countrywide that would like to benefit from phase VI of website development and hosting. The overall objective of this Programme is to facilitate increased Kenyan exports to the international markets through implementation of focused promotional activities and building business

Anticipated benefits
The websites are expected to render the following benefits to the SMEs;
•    Provide a platform for marketing and promotion of products in the international markets
•    The domain at have at least two email addresses to facilitate communication with potential clients
•    Provide a facility/functionality for online ordering
•    Reducing the cost of doing business and product promotion in the international

What does the program provide?
The program provides for the following;
•    Website development
•    Registration of business domain names e.g. www.abcbusiness.co.ke and provision of business/corporate email
•    Training users on how to use and update the websites
•    Maintenance of websites for 1 year.

Interested companies should complete the application form and attach supporting documents. The application form is available at EPC offices or downloaded here . The filled form should be delivered at 1st Floor Anniversary Towers or at any of the EPC Regional offices in Mombasa and Eldoret  with the envelope clearly labelled “SME WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT - Phase VI”.
