Export Trade Training for Beginners
Export Promotion Council (EPC) has organized a training on Export Trade from 24th to 28th February 2014.
The five days training will be a non-residential course covering key basic information of the export process.The training targets potential and new exporters, Trade Support Institutions and Trade Associations involved in international trade

For potential or new exporters who desires to get knowledge on export requirements 

Organised by the Export Promotion Council (EPC), the training workshop will cover the following:

·       Business readiness assessment

·       Market segmentation

·       Product positioning

·       Producing the required quantities and quality

·       Technical requirements for exporting

·         Packaging and labelling

·         Pricing for export

·         Export marketing and promotion

·         Export documentation

·         Export payment and finance

 

Target Participants

Potential and new exporters; Trade Support Institutions and Trade Associations involved in international trade.

 

Anticipated Benefits

*    Understanding how to select, penetrate and retain export markets

*    A deeper understanding on pricing and quality requirements for export

*    Appreciation of the importance of appropriate packaging, labelling and branding in exporting

*    Understanding of international commercial terms of trade (Incoterms®), the export process and documentation in order to minimize risks inherent in international trade

 

 

Participation Details

The training is a five days non-residential course covering key basic information of the export process. Total payment for the five days is Kshs 2,500.00 per participant. Application and payments should be made by 14th February 2014.

Course materials and refreshment will be provided. Certificates will be awarded to participants who attend the training for all five days.

Please note that applications will be accepted on first-come-first- served basis only for targeted participants.

Location and Date
