Enterprise Export Capacity Development
The Export Promotion Council is organising an Enterprise Export Capacity Development programme to assist new and potential exporters build their export capacity for the regional market. The main aim of the programme is to enable the enterprises increase their export readiness to ensure success in starting and enhancing export business
The programme involves 3 stages:
a) First workshop on building export strategy and production capacity
b) Second workshop on developing market and transaction capabilities
c) Export linkages – participation at a regional trade fair. The workshops will include practical assignments that the participants will be required to undertake based on their enterprises. Success in completing the assignments, their quality, determination and demonstration of commitment to export will determine the enterprises that proceed to the subsequent stage.
The programme targets registered and active enterprises including co-operatives producing export ready products who desire to export to the regional market. Interested participants are invited to apply for participation by completing the enterprise profile form downloadable here...
The completed forms should be submitted by 22nd November 2013.Women and youth will be given priority.
